Description:

Amplifire is seeking a Mid-Level React Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React, along with a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly web applications. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a sizable front-end application using React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following team and industry best practices.
  • Optimize components for performance and usability across a wide range of devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues based on feedback of our users.
  • Write unit tests for your code to maintain our testing suite.
  • Tackle code-improvement tech debt tasks to improve the overall codebase.
  • Ensure the application adheres to accessibility standards and best practices.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A strong eagerness to collaborate and the humility to ask for help.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Bonus if you have experience with TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of React state management (e.g. Hooks, Context, etc.)
  • Bonus if you have experience with Redux
  • Experience with writing Unit Tests.
  • Bonus if you have experience with Vitest and React Testing Library.
  • Experience integrating with back-end services using RESTful APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility best practices (e.g., ARIA).
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel, Jenkins).

Salary

$129,000 – $134,000 annually
